Summary:

As the Warranty Administrator you are the 'hub' for warranties throughout the organization. Your role is to facilitate the entire warranty process to ensure that claims are filed with the intent to recover all expenses possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Follow and manage claim through the OEM process until it is paid
  • Reconcile OEM credit memos
  • Maintain warranty receivable schedules
  • Close repair orders
  • Refund customers via work order or check as applicable
  • Generate OEM reports and processes as necessary
  • Facilitate communication internally between Truck Service, Parts and Body Shop for warranty work
  • Notify Service Department of any warranty changes by the OEM
  • Act as a warranty industry resource throughout the Stoops group
  • Ensure dealerships are aware of the OEM warranty processes and rules
  • Maintain workspace in an orderly manner to allow retrieval of documents by co-workers if needed
  • Provide high quality customer service as related to warranty services
  • Make sure all aspects of the warranty process are fulfilled within audit requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

* Knowledgeable of the warranty industry

* Knowledge of engine terminology and function for heavy duty trucks

* Strong communication skills that promote teamwork and a collaborative environment are encouraged with clear expectations set for predictable results

* Efficiency and organization are a must as multi-tasking is a part of daily operations
