Overview
The Office of the State Treasurer is seeking a Director of Risk Management (DRM). This position has overall responsibility for risk prevention, internal controls, ethics, and compliance. The DRM will design, recommend, and monitor policies and procedures governing these matters in consultation with the Treasurer and office leadership. The DRM will design and implement an anonymous internal whistleblower system and will lead response and investigation of claims arising from that system. The DRM will perform periodic risk assessments of Treasury programs, and generally oversee an enterprise risk management process. The DRM will also have day-to-day responsibility for reviewing certain Unclaimed Property (UP) claims to detect and prevent potential fraud. Qualified candidates will have: * Familiarity with Microsoft Programs; with extra knowledge in Excel Who May Apply

Duties are performed primarily in a standard office setting. Interaction with state and federal officials and organizations may be required. Incumbents must be adaptable and able to work within tight deadlines and under considerable stress. Some evening and weekend duty may be necessary. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or higher in accounting criminal justice or a related field OR have Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) license OR Three (3) or more years' of related experience Total Compensation
