IFF is looking for a Chemist III, titled Quality Analyst III, to join our team in Newark, DE.
OVERVIEW:
Performs the analytical evaluation of raw material, intermediate and finished products, making critical pass / fail decisions. Makes risk analysis and usage decisions of non conformances.Provides technical assistance for Internal and external customers and when nonconformance's are detected, determines root cause, preventive and corrective actions
Job Summary:
- Excellent in managing, preparing, acquisition & interpreting the samples (raw materials) for PRT and RMAC samples utilizing sophisticated analytical equipment TQGCMS, TQLCMS, GCMS, etc..
- Excellent Knowledge & Experience in Quality Control with a total understanding of analytical chemistry
- Excellent at maintaining sophisticated analytical instruments including the scheduling of preventative maintenance ensuring trouble-free operation and competence
- Excellent reporting of the PRT results from timely preparation of monthly reports. Quality Best Practice
- Good knowledge of GPL / GPM Good practices of the lab, good practices of manufacturing, ISO norms, regulatory affairs, COFEPRIS
- Good Knowledge of HACCP Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points, familiar with the allergen's declaration process
- Be proficient In all computer systems such as SAP, LIMS, Outlook, Excel, and Word. Project Management Skill
- Regression and acceptance testing cycle experience
- Skillful in Project Management
- Deep understanding of project people and Management knowledge Leadership & Decision making
- Ability to influence teams and work in diverse groups of people & roles.
- Ability to work independently to manage work progression and time.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/or Biology or equivalent
- +5 years of experience In an analytical lab
- Knowledge of Industry & Regulation
- English fluency to interact with other IFF affiliate sites.
