V2X is looking to add an experienced Systems Manager to our growing team. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual. This includes support of physical and virtual systems at multiple locations.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of desktop support technicians.
  • Oversee daily desktop support operations, including desktop hardware and software inventory, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead IT projects related to desktop support, including hardware and software, migrations, and deployments.
  • Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software.
  • Assess system performance identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, incident trends, and service metrics.
  • Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems. Ensure timely procurement, deployment, and replacement of equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all support processes, configurations, and procedures.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field AND 4+ years of IT experience in Information Desktops, Printers, Technology Systems
  • Experience leading a Desktop support team is required.
  • Ability to implement patching, updates, and rollouts required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional support experiences
  • Ability to effectively manage time
  • Energetic, able to switch gears quickly from task to task
  • Desire to learn; independently and on the job
  • US Citizenship is required.

  • The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

    • USD $ 100,000 - $175,000


  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
