We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Survey Technician to join our team in Madison, WI. This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in surveying and civil engineering. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting land surveys, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
  • Collect and record survey data using various instruments such as total stations, GPS, and levels.
  • Prepare accurate survey drawings and reports using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain survey equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Participate in fieldwork and travel to project sites as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (but not required).
  • Strong interest in land surveying and civil engineering.
  • Basic knowledge of surveying instruments and techniques is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites.
