Position Highlights

The Freedom Center at the University of Arizona is in search of a Postdoctoral Research Associate, focused on issues related to the labor market, particularly with interests in the gender wage gap. The position will begin September 2025 for a full time, 1 year (potentially renewable) appointment.

The postdoc will pursue research activities as related to his/her expertise of study. Additionally the postdoc will assist with other Freedom Center activities, such as helping organize the Freedom Center Talk Series or assist with the Visiting Fellows Program.

Postdoc Appointment Term: 2025-2026, with potential to renew

The Freedom Center was founded in 2008 and is a University Center in the Office for Research, Innovation & Impact. It provides research, teaching, and programming that is grounded in individual freedom and honors people's right to constructively disagree. Our faculty draw from philosophy, politics, economics, law, and ethics to enhance our understanding of the elements that shape individual and societal prosperity. Center scholars also include post-doctoral fellows, Ph.D. students in philosophy, and Visiting and Research Fellows we host from universities worldwide.

* Assist with Freedom Center activities.
