Requisition ID:74501 Job Description If you are a motivated student with skills and interest in creating new and more efficient workflows, Skyworks Cedar Rapids Design Center is looking for you! As a home to an elite team of RF professionals you will work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills working on real products that will end up in the next generation of cellular phones. Your job function will include but not be limited tocommunicating with engineering teams to understand their problems, develop a new workflow to solve their problems, create new software programs or explore existing software options to help engineers with daily tasks. Responsibilities Communicate with engineering teams to discover inefficiencies and bottlenecks Create new and/or evaluate existing software solutions to develop workflows removing inefficiencies and bottlenecks Support existing workflows by adding requested features and fixing bugs Create training documentation and train engineers to use new workflows Show up to work before 9AM with a positive, can-do attitude Must have ability to complete intern/coop term prior to graduation Qualifications and Education Requirements Available to workJune to December Must be currently enrolled in an Engineering/Software BS, MS or PhD program Strong background in software programming Good communication and presentation skills Experience with Microsoft Office tools, VScode Python, Linux, circuit design, data analysis, system Verilog, SKILL coding experience are not required, but desired #LI-DJ1 The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
