Job Overview

The role of the Warehouse Associate I, is responsible for providing the highest level of quality and service to our customers. Responsibilities include accurate and timely receiving of inventory, product movement, cycle counting and shipping orders accurately in a timely manner and in a salable condition. While performing duties, the Warehouse Associate I will be responsible for operating lift trucks and warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

A Day In The Life

  • Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure clean and safe working environment to ensure safety and security of all employees.
  • Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order ensure little to no accidents.
  • Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk.
  • Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate area.
  • Follow all visual aids with the distribution center in order maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Contribute process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue.
  • Fully Contribute in continuous improvement events to improve operations
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.

  • Ability to perform work for a minimum of eight hours.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.

  • Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety and warehouse standards.
  • Ability to handle regular job problems within a defined area of responsibility using basic problem-solving skills.
