Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team for the 2025 summer. Specific duties for the Supply Chain intern include but are not limited to the below: Essential Functions: Learn and understand by shadowing personnel in all areas of procurement, buying, sourcing, planning and inventory control. Manage a buyer code and be responsible for ordering and scheduling product. Continue to improve and develop procurement scorecards and metrics. Lead continous improvement project(s) within the supply chain organization to improve processes and find areas of potential automation and improvement. May work cross functionally to achieve goals. Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives. Qualifications: Enrolled in an acredited Supply Chain or Procurement program with a Jr. or Sr. standing with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA Strong in Excel, Word, Powerpoint Ability to qualify for a security clearance which typically means U.S. Citizenship and a clean background Ability to move freely in a manufacturing setting RENK America is an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V | |
