The Ultra Engineering function manages a portfolio of specialist capabilities, generating highly differentiated solutions and products by applying electronic, mechanical, and software technologies in demanding and critical environments to meet customer needs.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review production data for accuracy and compliance
  • Create, control and revise ILS and technical documentation
  • Work within a collaborative environment

Required Skills:

  • Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology or equivalent
  • 1-2-year technical writing, electrical test and/or data review, preferably for military applications
  • Strong analytical abilities to conduct data reviews from test results
  • Skilled with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Good organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and block diagrams
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of automatic testing equipment
  • AutoCAD skills a plus
  • Photo editing software knowledge helpful

Expected Compensation: The expected compensation for this role is between $75,000-$85,000 annually. Please note, this is the expected compensation however, Ultra Maritime considers many factors in determining compensation prior to offer, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
