An exciting career opportunity is immediately available in CPACE (Computational Pathology & AI Center of Excellence) in the Department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh for a postdoctoral associate under Dr. Hooman Rashidi's supervision. Our AI Center is involved in various image and non-image AI studies and the candidate will contribute to the following projects:

1 Whole Slide Image AI studies

2 Generative AI studies, etc.

Candidates should have a PhD, MD, or DMV degree and be familiar with basic AI techniques. Research experience in AI with statistical background is also highly desirable. The candidate is expected to have effective verbal/written communication skills, and at least one first-author publication in one of the areas mentioned above is recommended. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to lead these projects independently, learn new skills and tackle important scientific questions.

The Center/lab is part of a highly collaborative environment with a track record of excellence in AI research and innovation. Postdoctoral Associates have an opportunity to grow their careers through the Department of Pathology research funding, scientific core facilities, unique scientific and clinical resources, networking and collaborations, mentoring, and enrichment programs.

Degree Requirements: PhD is required in related AI field

Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
