Position Title: Welder Wage: $17.00/Hour Shift: 1st Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday) Looking for a first shift opportunity doing general production / assembly type of work? QPS has an opening for a client company located in Clear Lake, IA. This is well known company that manufactures metal products for different retail based companies! Welder Responsibilities: - Weld components in various positions - Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, using straight edges, squares, clamps and fixtures - Receive instructions, blueprints, and work orders for the job - Examine work to check for defects - Record materials used and time spent on job - MIG and TIG weld pieces to form product being manufactured - Grind down welds as needed Requirements For Welder: - Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history.
