QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a CNC Operator at a company in South Beloit, IL. This is a potential to hire position for 1st or 2nd shift. Apply today! CNC Operator Responsibilities: - Perform setups and offsets - Read blueprints - Inspect tools for defects using quality control tools - Perform accurate programming and machine operation - Evaluate quality of the finished product coming off the CNC machine through visual inspection and the use of measurement tools Requirements for CNC Operator: - High School Diploma or GED; certification from a qualified training institution in the field of machining ideal - A well-rounded knowledge of cutters, inserts, and feeds/speeds preferred - Previous manufacturing experience preferred - Previous CNC Operator experience preferred - Programming experience preferred - Strong math skills are required to perform day-to-day operations including the ability to convert metric to inch and decimal to fractions - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - Ability to lift up to 20lbs - Prolonged periods of standing at a machine janesville@qpsemployment.com IND028 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
