Responsibilities

Performs jobs responsibilities within the framework of established immigration procedures, policies, and standards under the direct supervision of the Assistant General Counsel - Immigration. Serves as a central liaison between staffing agencies, hiring managers, and the in-house Immigration team. This position supports the Legal Department's processing of employment-based non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters. This position assists in the collection of legal documents and information pertaining to the preparation of new H-1B, TN, and "Schedule A" Immigrant Petitions. Liaises with and monitors external staffing agencies and internal stakeholders engaging in the recruitment of certain foreign workers.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

1. 1-2 years of business immigration law experience in an in-house legal or HR team.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. Ability to analyze complex data, distill it, and present it in a cogent and effective manner.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. Administrative assistant, legal assistant, or paralegal in law firm
3. Experience with Nurse immigration, TN, and H1B transfers

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $24.55 to $31.97. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
