Sinclair Sports Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ad Sales Programmatic Specialist who possesses a strong passion for sports. The ideal candidate will assist in setting up programmatic advertising deals across all Sinclair Sports platforms, including Tennis Channel and T2, as well as our emerging sports podcast division.

The Ad Sales Operations Specialist will create, analyze, and communicate programmatic sales proposals for the Sales team, facilitating effective presentations to advertising agencies and clients. This role requires collaboration across various media platforms and departments to develop proposals, execute campaigns, and manage programmatic deal setups and pacing. The Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact post-sale for agency and interacting with our Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs). This position is hybrid in our NYC office.

Responsibilities:



  • Develop Ad Sales media plans based on the Pricing and Planning team's directives for all programmatic guaranteed and Private Marketplace (PMP) deals.
  • Technical trouble shooting.
  • The specialist is responsible for setting up deal ID's with SSP partners and ensuring deal are correctly flowing impressions from advertisers DSP partners.
  • Pulling data from SSP partners user interface on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in pricing negotiations between the Pricing & Planning team and agencies for both upfront and scatter buys.
  • Collaborate closely with Inventory Management to optimize revenue based on market conditions, inventory availability, and sports schedules.
  • Deal maintenance for all programmatic campaigns.
  • Review all programmatic deal terms to ensure alignment with approved media plans.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and agency contacts.
  • Execute programmatic deals, monitor campaign delivery, and implement optimizations as necessary.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an agency or network environment.
  • Critical thinking and analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic sales environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Magnite, Freewheel, and Operative AOS is a plus.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $57,000 to $62,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
