Vaco is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to join a dynamic company in the Northern Phoenix area. The Senior Payroll Manager oversees and supervises the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations for the company. Responsibilities include: Oversee all aspects of payroll management including the routine payroll processing, tax and benefits compliance and reporting, and SOX compliance Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. The role will involve helping with audits and information requests Perform weekly batch reviews, submission audits, and error resolutions Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources is required CPP is a plus 7+ years payroll management experience including leadership responsibilities. In addition to this, must have multi-state tax experience with large companies, California payroll background and experience dealing with commissions. Experience with QuickBooks, Epicor, and Paylocity preferred Intermediate background in MS Excel To be immediately considered, APPLY NOW!
