The Logistics Specialist is responsible for operational execution, continuous improvement and business support for a certain logistics mode, business or region through own Eastman systems and third-party logistics service providers. The specialist can execute SAP related activities on order / shipment level and can execute first-line trouble shooting. The role ensures smooth operations, provides business updates as appropriate on progress and supports procurement exercises to change logistics material flows. The Logistics Specialist acts as an escalation point for Customer Service and Business Supply chain and drives issues to their conclusion. Conducts follow-up on customer complaints and non conformances. May lead logistics or supply chain projects Responsibilities

A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, etc.) and 3- 5+ years of relevant work experience is required. Skills Operational drive and focus. Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously Critical Quick Decision Making High level of accountability & responsibility Has the ability to influence teams of people without having direct authority over those groups. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), highly collaborative, and promotes global cross functional team work.
