Job Summary Under Supervision, This Position Is Responsible For Conducting Research And Providing Responses To A Variety Of Written And Web Based Inquiries From Beneficiaries, Providers, Blues Plans And Etc.The Correspondent Advocate class will start on January 27th, 2025. Job Fair December 10th, 5:00-7:00PM 201 Coles Centre Pkwy Mattoon, IL 61938 Onsite interviews and assistance applying if needed Job ID: R0037661 *This position allows for a potential flex/telecommute schedule based on performance.* BASIC FUNCTION: Under supervision, this position is responsible for conducting research and providing responses to a variety of written and web based inquiries from beneficiaries, providers, blues plans and etc. JOB REQUIREMENTS: *6 months customer service experience OR 6 months experience in an office environment *Data entry and/or typing experience. *Interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills and independent decision making skills. *Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: *Billing or insurance experience. *Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. *Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change. *Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria. *PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel. *This position allows for a potential flex/telecommute schedule based on performance.* HCSC is committed to diversity in the workplace and to providing equal opportunity and affirmative action to employees and applicants.
