SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges. Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security. The AUKUS Group, within SPA's Sea, Land, and Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA's AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Program Office and associated partner organizations. Analysts and Engineers supporting AUKUS will continue SPA's decades of support to the undersea force and assist in developing a trilateral submarine force for the future. This is a high-profile, major international program of significant importance to the future of the US Navy and its partners in an era of renewed strategic competition.#MC SPA has an immediate need for an International Military Student Officer (IMSO) at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY&IMF) in Hawai'i. Responsibilities The International Military Student Officer (IMSO) plays a multifaceted role in supporting Australian nationals participating in the AUKUS submarine program within the United States. As the primary point of contact for these Australian personnel at U.S. Naval Station in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, the IMSO combines the roles of a host, administrator, counselor, expeditor, and diplomat. In essence, they represent the Direct Report Program Manager, AUKUS Integration and Acquisition (DRPM AUKUS I&A), ensuring that the International Military Students' needs in administration, academics, and general welfare are met throughout their stay in the United States. This includes coordinating with foreign partners, fostering strong relationships with the students, and providing support for both professional and technical training. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to address and manage urgent issues as they arise, requiring the IMSO to be prepared to respond swiftly to crises and undertake travel at short notice. This dynamic position demands a proactive and resourceful approach to effectively cater to the diverse needs of international military students and maintain the program's integrity and objectives. This role is located at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY&IMF), Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
