The AUKUS Group, within SPA's Sea, Land, and Air Division, provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA's AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Program Office and associated partner organizations. Analysts and Engineers supporting AUKUS will continue SPA's decades of support to the undersea force and assist in developing a trilateral submarine force for the future. This is a high-profile, major international program of significant importance to the future of the US Navy and its partners in an era of renewed strategic competition.#MC

SPA has an immediate need for an Executive Assistant supporting the AUKUS trilateral nuclear powered submarine program. #MC



Responsibilities

Your role will be that of an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership within the AUKUS program office. Responsibilities will include executive level meeting facilitation and briefing preparations; developing and implementing office and organizational administrative policies and procedures; analyzing processes and workflow's, formulating process improvement recommendations to ensure a smooth operation of the office; and working with international partners to synchronize schedules. There may be opportunities for periodic trips outside of the DC area to support customer meetings. This position is located at the Washington Navy Yard.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $100-130k



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in business administration (or other relevant field)
  • 5+ years experience as an Executive Assistant within the DoD
  • 10+ years professional experience
  • Proven experience working in a flag level front office.
  • Experience with executive scheduling, Defense Travel System, and front office support
  • Strong administrative, organizational and analytical skills and the willingness to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Current DoD SECRET clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a submarine program
  • Experience with international/FMS programs
  • Experience with and knowledgeable of the Navy requirements and program office organizations and processes
