Main Duties & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: To perform a variety of operational functions that constitutes the production, inspection and distribution of products or services for our customers.

* Performs assignments in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
* Adheres to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions.
* Complies with the work rules and standards set forth in the Employee Handbook.
* Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.
* Displays appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive work environment with co-workers.
* Refers to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function or assignment before commencing work.
* Performs any specified quality assurance checks designated for each job, function or assignment.
* Assures that all work assigned to position is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
* Demonstrates ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within a reasonable time, depending on the degree of difficulty of their job functions.

SPECFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ability to operate Spinner machine.
2. Ability to change out Spinner tooling.
3. Ability to complete Statistical Process Control Charts for product being spun.
4. Working knowledge of control gauges used in Spinner inspection
5. Ability to identify folded necks in cylinders and scrap accordingly.
6. Ability to operate material handling devices such as overhead hoists, overhead cranes, hard surface and rough terrain industrial lift trucks.
7. Ability to establish dimension for raw material and in process parts from production drawings, work instructions and quality standards.
8. Ability to cut raw material and in process parts using available powered equipment.
9. Ability to operate and support spinning process line.
10. Ability to operate, set up and support 400 ton horizontal press.
11. Ability to use available equipment to de-burr, polish, trim and/or other tasks required in the production of quality parts.
12. Ability to assist in and set up and operate pre spin heating ovens.
13. Ability to assist in and set up and operate various bottom presses.
14. Ability to assist in and set up and operate in training of various spinning units.
15. Ability to complete written reports
16. Knowledge of equipment set-up procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience, Competencies and Education
    • Must posses an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments and responsibilities of the job.
  • Language Skills
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
  • Mathematical Skills
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
  • Reasoning Ability
    • Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems. Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
