Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $22.88/Hr. - USD $38.13/Hr.. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Requirements

    Two + (2+) years of experience performing work in the following areas:
    • Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents;
    • Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles
    • Preparing and keeping records of goods shipped including manifests and bills of lading
    • Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records
    • Checking for damaged goods
    • Ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment
    • Preparing and keeping records of goods received
  • Experience maintaining and inventorying equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication


Desired Skills

  • Two + (2+) years' experience performing work in the following areas on Department of Navy (DON) or Department of Defense (DOD) projects or programs:
    • Verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents;
    • Ensuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles
    • Preparing and keeping records of goods shipped including manifests and bills of lading
    • Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records
    • Checking for damaged goods
    • Ensuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment
    • Preparing and keeping records of goods received
  • Experience tracking and storing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
  • Experience with materials requisition and material databases


Description

  • Generates, maintains, and tracks material and part requirements to ensure continued support of deployed systems and/or products
  • Assists in the preparation of materials requisition
  • Assists in the maintenance of the materials database
  • Maintains inventory required by engineering drawings
  • Provides information for the tracking and storage of government furnished equipment
  • Performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods of the establishment in which employed and receiving incoming shipments
  • Performs shipping duties including verifying that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insuring that shipments are properly packaged, identified with shipping information, and loaded into transporting vehicles, and preparing and keeping records of goods shipped, e.g., manifests, bills of lading.
  • Performs receiving duties including verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received
