Requirements

    Minimum of two years specialized vocational training or an AA / AS degree, and 2 to 5 years work-related experience
  • AutoCAD experience required
  • Final or Interim Secret clearance required to start

Description

  • Identifies, analyzes, and generates specifications for the development of technical documentation and engineering drawings tailored to the requirements of Naval aircraft systems
  • Interprets engineering data gathered from aircraft inspections, surveys, engineering notes, sketches, blueprints, and photographs in order to create required technical documentation packages
  • Ensures that all drawings and documents are in proper format, comply with NAVAIR standards and specifications, and meet the quality, cost, and productivity objectives of the company and the customer
  • Suggests and recommends methods to improve or develop technical documentation processes
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of detailing/drafting principles and appropriate system software

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL.
