Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $20.01/Hr. - USD $33.35/Hr.. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Requirements

    Two + (2+) years' experience performing work in the following areas:
    • Verifying materials and merchandise against receiving documents
    • Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
    • Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
    • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials
    • Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
    • Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
    • Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
  • Experience maintaining and inventorying equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Possess a current DoD Secret security clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication


Desired Skills

  • Two + (2+) years' experience performing work in the following areas on Department of Navy (DON) or Department of Defense (DOD) projects or programs:
    • Verifying materials and merchandise against receiving documents
    • Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
    • Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
    • Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials
    • Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
    • Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
    • Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
  • Experience operating hand or power trucks when performing warehousing duties
  • Experience tracking and storing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
  • Experience with materials requisition and material databases


Description

  • Generates, maintains, and tracks material and part requirements to ensure continued support of deployed systems and/or products
  • Assists in the preparation of materials requisition
  • Assists in the maintenance of the materials database
  • Maintains inventory required by engineering drawings
  • Provides information for the tracking and storage of government furnished equipment
  • Performs a variety of warehousing duties including:
    • Verifies materials and merchandise against receiving documents
    • Notes and reports discrepancies and obvious damages
    • Routs materials to prescribed storage locations
    • Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials
    • Examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage
    • Rearranges and takes inventory of stored materials
    • Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment
