Requirements

    BS/BA and/or appropriate work experience, specifically with U.S. Navy airborne SIGINT, ELINT - COMINT Systems


Desired Skills

  • Designing, developing, and documenting structural / mechanical engineering / installation of internal racks, flooring, bulkheads, aircraft power distribution, flight controls, and external surfaces
  • Responsible for drafting, compiling, and reviewing mechanical installation design packages, which include technical drawings, concepts of operations, and impact statements
  • Amend as required vendor drawings and vendor installation procedures in accordance with (IAW) Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards in order to integrate and install U.S. Navy P-8A mission systems
  • Duties also include performing physical configuration audits, and engineering investigations. Skills must include use of Auto-CAD and 3-D mechanical modeling software, as well as the Microsoft Office suite to perform day to day tasks


Description

  • Researches and prepares drafts and/or finished technical drawings to program management and customers
  • Supports P-8A structural modifications to include internal racks, sensors / antennas, and radomes, as well as ensure accompanying Flight Clearance Technical Data Packages (TDPs) are complete and accurate
  • Performs research and analysis on projects to enhance the technical development of the product and/or service
  • Assists in establishing supportability and maintainability concepts based on the twelve logistics elements
  • Generates engineering change proposal and technical directive documents
  • Designs and maintains mechanical supporting systems for P8 aircraft, determines the level and location of repair activities
  • Manages technical data, reviews and manages technical publications, and generates and manages of required databases

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
