DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will provide essential support to the Roadway Management Systems (RMS) Coordinator. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the maintenance of pavement history tracking sheets and addressing various needs that may arise throughout the year, particularly related to the STAMPP program. You will also help manage tracking reports and spreadsheets associated with STAMPP, ensuring accurate data management.
Additionally, you will offer support to the District Materials Coordinator by monitoring service contracts to ensure compliance with specifications, purchasing units, and expiration dates. It will be your responsibility to report any anticipated issues or necessary changes to management during the duration of these contracts. You will also play a key role in managing the materials aspect of the Systematic Techniques to Analyze and Manage Pennsylvania Pavements (SAP) Plant Maintenance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Systems for the county. This includes overseeing the procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of bulk materials and garage storeroom items to guarantee resource availability and optimize resource utilization.
Your duties will extend to maintaining inventory records in line with Department policy, ensuring that various inventory control methods are implemented and followed. You will be responsible for completing goods receipt entries in SAP for bulk materials received from vendors and will assist in reviewing and analyzing data from the SAP Plant Maintenance and RMS to ensure that program objectives are met and overall system control is upheld.
You will also run AO (Analysis for Office) Zero Usage and Inventory Turnover Reports and assist with winter salt stockpile assessments. Monthly, you will conduct spot checks at county stockpiles, verifying aggregate inventories and stockroom inventories while maintaining accurate records. Participation in stockpile and stockroom Quality Assurance processes will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will serve as the backup SAP goods issuer for the District storeroom and assist in training personnel on inventory management, including SAP Materials Management and material extensions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Dunmore.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or
- One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
- An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
