Work Schedule:

Onsite - Buffalo, NY

Moog'sMilitary Aircraft Groupislooking for aProduct Engineertoprovide support for Aircraft production programs.You will report to the Product Engineering Team Lead and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

Here's what you will need to bring with you:

  • BS Degree in Engineering with 1+ year of relevant technical experience, or BT Degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant technical experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to periodically work additional hours to support program goals and product demand

  • Ability to support evening or early morning teleconferences occasionally

  • Ability to travel 2-3 times per year for up to 1 week per trip

  • Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information

It would be great if you also had:

  • MS Degree in Engineering

  • Familiarity with aircraft hydraulic system design and function

Here's what you'll work on:

  • Provide engineering support to solve challenging problems on a complex product line

  • Provide technical guidance to Assembly & Test personnel and serve as a product expert for inquiries from all functions

  • Support Assembly & Test operations by leading product and process improvement projects

  • Track key metrics including first pass yield (FPY) and standards versus actuals (SvA) to maintain and improve product line performance

  • Ensure product integrity of all hardware on the product line through Material Review Board (MRB) analyses and evaluation for possible Notice of Escape (NOE) to customers

  • Provide clear production instructions to Assembly & Test personnel to maintain efficiency including formal Work Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), and Electronic Historical Record (EHR) entries

  • Support equipment evaluation and implementation to meet production requirements including assembly fixtures and tools, production flow-line systems, and test equipment

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $75,000.00-$90,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
