Position Description

Scope: This position is responsible for inspecting and installing options to ensure that all buses conform with ABC, Factory, Customer and DOT specifications
Schedule:
- 10-hour shift
- Daytime
- Monday - Thursday (Overtime availability varies)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform inspections and repairs on 35-foot and 45-foot motor coaches
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair found defects
- Complete DOT annual inspection forms
- Document vehicle failures, communicate with onsite support for vendor communications
- Read specifications and work instructions to understand the requirements of products and services
- Work with team members to optimize efficiency
- Follow Lead and Supervisor direction to complete inspections
- Accurately maintain and track time and attendance
- Safely move vehicles on property up to 45-foot motorcoaches.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Mechanical background (Detroit or Cummins)
- Electrical background (CAN - J1939)
- Experience working with Automotive, Motorcoach, Tractor Trailer or RV
- An ability to pivot in an ever-changing work environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Ability to work full time with a possibility of overtime
- CDL preferred but not required
Skills:
- Multimeter proficient (AC and DC)
- Ability to read schematics
- Strong organizational skills (manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks)
- Complete assigned work within expected time frames
- Use of technology (iPad, Email, Microsoft applications)
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift infrequently
- Ability to move up and down stairs
- Ability to work outside and in a shop environment
