Required Qualification: (as evidenced by an attached resume) Preferred Qualifications: Primary Purpose: * Conduct independent research or teach methods to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying the motor and autonomic control of orofacial behaviors. This will involve viral tracing, manipulation of neural circuits, behavioral experiments, and neural activity recordings. * Analyze and quantify histology, behavior, and neural recording data. * Lab management, including oversight/supervision of Undergraduate and/or Graduate students, Research Technicians, or provide training in various research methods. Maintenance of lab including equipment maintenance, mouse care and ordering of needed supplies. * Prepare manuscripts for publications in peer reviewed and/or scientific journals. * Other duties as assigned.
