The Role

Entegris is seeking a dynamic leader for the role of Director of Materials Management for the Material Solutions Division. This position will work across the MS Division to meet the requirements of the world's largest and most demanding semiconductor customers. This role can be located in either Aurora, IL or Round Rock, TX and will report to the VP Operations of the MS Division.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage Planning best practices within a high mix, low volume complex product portfolio. Use thought leadership to anticipate future needs and changes that may be required.

  • Develop highly capable teams in production planning & scheduling, buying and inventory control

  • Drive leading and lagging performance metrics to ensure that the MS Division meets its on-time shipping (OTS) targets, inventory targets, and revenue targets

  • Ensure the MS Division manufacturing sites are following standard work processes for Planning and Buying

  • Develop plans to standardize Materials Management processes across all MS Divisions sites

  • Identify, prioritize, and deploy continuous improvements related to production planning, scheduling, capacity requirements planning, and inventory control for all aspects of material flow in the manufacturing sites in conjunction with Distribution Planning, Supply Network Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain Solutions teams;

  • Drive accountability and effectiveness for successful management of manufacturing inputs & assumptions into monthly Rough Cut Capacity Planning as an input into Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process

  • Drive accountability and serve as point of escalation related to supply constraints in partnership with Operations, Engineering, Supply Network Planning, Business Unit Leadership and Procurement;

  • Lead a large team of direct and indirect reports across MS Division sites

  • Work closely with BU partners and manufacturing sites on new product introductions and other parts of product life-cycle management.

  • Demonstrate fiscal responsibility through Annual Operating Planning (AOP), (including standard head count models for production planning & inventory control)) and develop strong accountability across materials teams for sales value of production (SVOP), variance review & mitigation, inventory right-sizing, and excess / obsolete inventory management (including an emphasis upon MRB);

  • Manage inventory to an optimum level ensuring profitable revenue capture and growth for the business without service level interruptions.

  • Monitor service performance across the supply chain from supply side manufacturing through distribution channels to customers and address opportunities for improvements.

  • Achieve divisional Performance Metric goals/objectives (On Time Shipping, Past Due Backlog, Days on Hand inventory, FG Scrap/E&O). Understand and support global supply chain strategy development and execution ensuring growth opportunities are fully supported.

  • Provide support and leadership on our End-to-End Supply Chain Improvement strategy including improving our collaboration across divisions and functions as well as innovations to improve our planning capabilities and implement best practices including advanced analytics, supply chain visibility, and the technology roadmap for planning.

  • As an integral player in the Entegris' monthly Global S&OP process, lead your team to support the process by collaborating with cross-functional partners (operations, sourcing/procurement, etc.) to identify constraints and develop mitigation plans.

  • Challenge the organization to strive for continuous improvement

What We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree at a minimum, with an advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of experience in Planning and/or Procurement in combination with other Supply Chain and Operations roles.

  • Demonstrated leadership in transforming a complex manufacturing supply chain.

  • Exceptional skills in collaboration and influence in working with BU partners to accomplish short and long-term business goals.

  • Leverages market intelligence to inform business planning and optimize decision making.

  • Strategic thinker with in-depth understanding of Planning strategy and optimization, matched with technical understanding of systems/processes.

  • Recognized self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment and seeks the challenge of winning in a rapidly changing marketplace.

  • Pursues alternative solutions, works well in group problem solving situations, presents ideas and information in a compelling way. Solid analytical skills and solution-driven thinking, using intuition and experience to complement data.

  • Strong process orientation and track record of reducing costs, improving profits and streamlining to achieve financial improvements.

  • Effectively articulate strategic vision, willing to get into details but also having capability to synthesize and simplify.

  • Effectively communicate with and influence both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels of the company..

  • Develop and sustain trust-based relationships with stakeholders and team.

  • Track record of building high performance teams with effective transition change management in multiple geographies, communicating and working effectively across different cultures.

  • Lead behavioral and cultural change through a supportive, collaborative and highly inclusive environment.

  • Strong technical aptitude in SAP's IBP tool and process, plus experience with SAP ECC6 & S4 and related support systems preferred.

  • Willingness and availability to travel as needed to support job scope.
