Position Purpose
Acting on own initiative, the Strategic Supply Analyst provides critical analytical and operational support to the Supply Chain Planning team while working cross-functionally with the rest of Supply Chain, Grower Relations, Winemaking and CRG stakeholders. This role supports strategic supply initiatives in meeting supply coverage targets, driving process improvement and mastering bulk inventory optimization. Working with a dynamic team, the Strategic Supply Analyst will establish strong business partnerships, provide trend analytics and supply chain health reporting, in support of supply/demand processes.
Essential Duties
- Supports strategic supply initiatives by providing analysis, optimizing inventory management, and assisting with supply/demand forecasting
- Supports bulk wine monthly forecasting process and system updating
- Tracks & communicates actions for optimizing existing bulk wine inventory and inventory balancing by location
- Supports the validation of the monthly wine supply review as well as system data for the reporting and analysis to support both cased goods and bulk wine demand requirements
- Provides input to the Supply/Demand Sales & Operations Planning and the Executive Sales & Operations Planning process to drive business decisions
- Supports supply/demand review with Winemaking, Finance, Grower Relations, Custom Resource Group and COO to address surplus/gap requirements
- Provides vintage cross-over projections for Winemaking, Production, Supply Chain and Marketing
- Supports annual master data auditing process
- Supports continuous improvement of supply/demand management models
- Ensures team is equipped with the tools and information to perform their jobs consistent with departmental standards of operation
- Applies analytic methods, best practices, modelling or tools to drive supply/demand decisions
- Provides historical trends and modelling of supply/demand requirements
- Provides ad hoc analysis to support Supply Chain, Winemaking, Grower Relations and Finance/Accounting
- Collaborates with peers to connect processes and ensure efficient workflow to avoid redundancy and/or disconnects and miscommunications
- Leads special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, business, finance or related field
- 3+ years experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory management or related functions
- Prior experience in beverage alcohol or CPG preferred
Certificates and Licenses
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must exhibit excellent analytical skills, problem-solving ability and communication skills for occasional meeting facilitation
- Requires cross-functional relationship building
- Strong ability to analyze multi-dimensional data and complex information
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, ERP (SAP preferred) and Power BI/Power Pivot

The pay range for this position is $76,353.84 to $119,397.60. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
