Senior Director of Network Analytics will lead a team responsible for driving data-driven decision-making and intelligence within Consolidated Communications Network organization. This individual will ensure the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the network by harnessing data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. The position plays a key role in network resilience, inventory and utilization, optimization, predictive maintenance, fault detection and enhancing performance through intelligent data gathering, automation, insights, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead CCI Network Intelligence strategy by utilizing advanced data analytics, AI/ML models, and automation techniques to optimize network performance
  • Collect, assess, prioritize, and route network data, metrics, reporting enabling KPI monitoring and dashboarding of network performance
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to define well-formed business questions, driving improvement processes with a focus on customer experience
  • Coordinate projects with peer functional groups in Architecture, Planning, Engineering, and Network Operations Centers
  • Manage a team of data analysts to ingest, document, route, and execute the KPI needs of the Chief Network Officer
  • Mentor analysts regarding:
    • Data Manipulation: Assemble data sets from various data sources by leveraging CCI toolsets
    • Strategic Analytics: Leverage analytic best practices to understand the relationship between customer, network, equipment, and product related attributes. Develop analytics to improve customer experience, identify network impairments, equipment issues, and anomalies.
    • Impact Analysis: Develop segmentation, classification, and analyses to measure the impact on KPIs
  • Interface cross-functionally with various teams, including Business Intelligence, Operations Analytics, Consumer, Commercial / Carrier, and product Analytics
Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, network engineering, network operations, or data analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
    • Proven experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong understanding of network architecture, data models, and operations process
    • Expertise in data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques applied to network optimization and automation.
    • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, data platforms (e.g., Splunk, (Data360, Matillion, Snowflake, Tableau)
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team
    • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
    • Expertise in cloud technologies and edge computing solutions.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $111,910 - $169,464
