Position Summary Identify the performance, skills, knowledge, information and attitude gaps of a targeted audience and create, select and/or suggest learning experiences to fill this gap. Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content for instructor led training courses, eLearning courses, onboarding curriculums, leadership development, & career development courses
  • Design learning paths and curriculums, recommend blended approaches that can include online learning, instructor led training, and Train the Trainer methods
  • Partner with the Learning Team to create learning assets
  • Conduct needs analysis for future learning and development strategies
  • Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Consult with division leaders and subject matter experts to create training solutions that identify target audience's training needs and new initiatives
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Manage learning results reporting
  • Validate impact and effectiveness of training strategies and assets, review content with subject matter experts review accuracy and relevance of training resources
  • Serve as a key link between the learning team, program development team, subject matter experts, and business leaders for assigned divisions
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%
Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) or equivalent from four-year college in training & development, education or related field is preferred. 5 years of experience in curriculum design and asset creation that includes online learning, instructor-led learning, and train-the-trainer learning. Experience with Instructional Design and accepted adult learning methodologies. Facilitation experience a plus. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have proficient knowledge of eLearning authoring software (Storyline by Articulate preferred). Multi-media experience a plus (such as video, audio, desktop publishing). Proficiency with Office (especially PowerPoint and basic Excel), eLearning authoring software, Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Project Management software including Asana is a plus.

Certificates and Licenses: Education related or software related certification a plus.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a guide for what we would reasonably pay for the position. Pay will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Pay is determined by various factors including market demand, applicable skills, work experience and education, location, company budget, and in-demand skill sets.

Compensation: $73,200.00 - $97,600.00

Retail, Guest Services, and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
