A Cath Lab Tech is a specialized healthcare professional dedicated to assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular conditions. Their responsibilities primarily involve performing diagnostic tests, managing equipment, and supporting physicians during procedures. Cardiovascular technologists are essential to cardiac care, ensuring accurate diagnostics, safe interventions, and high-quality patient support. Their expertise is crucial to the efficient operation of the cardiology department at St. Joseph Medical Center. Bonus Options: up to $10,000 (Paid out as stipends every 90 days) Shift's Available: Days Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 8hr or 10hr Options ** You must be a Registered Technologist (R.T) through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in order to move forward in this position (or have this within 6 months). New graduates are welcome to apply!! Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
perform Electrocardiograms (EKGs) to measure the electrical activity of the heart, monitor the heart's rhythm, and detect abnormalities such as arrhythmias
