Position Title: Quality Supervisor
Wage: $19-$21/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Quality Supervisor at a company in Oconomowoc, WI. Quality Supervisor Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Audit production for compliance to requirements - Perform layout inspections and process capability studies to support Engineering and Production - Supply training and supervision of Quality Techs and Lead operators - Quality record maintenance - Perform incoming inspections and maintain records - Assist in development and maintenance of product quality specifications - Maintain the gauge calibration program - Perform and maintain calibration of measurement equipment and gauges - Maintain product sample retention program - Serve as customer liaison in quality matters - Assist in development of measurement and test methods to monitor product quality - Serve as back-up to the Quality Manager - Assist in defining and documenting product quality requirements - Assist in monitoring company quality performance and coordinating quality improvement effort - Oversee overall cleanliness and organization of the Quality Assurance Laboratory Quality Supervisor Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent - ISO Auditor training - Basic math, calculator, and computer skills - Industrial/Mechanical blueprint reading - Statistical Process Control - Measurement and gauging principles - Minimum 2 years of shop floor inspection experience - Ability to use all available measurement and gauging equipment - Ability to rationalize situations and make judgments on quality issues based on factual/statistical information - Ability to communicate effectively - Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments - Adaptability to changing methods and fast-paced work environment - Ability to lead and train Quality personnel - Highly motivated, consistent, and dedicated to quality improvement efforts - Willingness to expand education QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
