As a Director of Service,
you will be responsible for...
What You'll Do:
- Lead development of the segment technical service vision and strategy; develop key programs to improve people, process and technologies to improve the customer experience.
- Plan, train, lead, and monitor the performance of service managers, technicians to promote customer satisfaction and revenue growth
- Prioritize the key programs and roadmaps for the portfolio of services in collaboration with Sales, Operations and Corporate Leadership. Work closely with internal and external resources and vendors to build drive programs.
- Set key KPIs and track success
- Create a service career path and lead efforts to invest in our service team members. Determine training needs and lead efforts to expand curricula.
- Develop tools and approaches that can be leveraged cross business. Lead efforts to build these tools
- Actively recruit and develop others, improving their skills and ability to get things done. Mentor and coach on product management/solutions development best practices.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required, or 10+ years of experience in service and service leadership product/service or program management, product marketing or business development
- Engineering and mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities
- Proven track record of delivering results in cross-functional initiatives
- Leadership of direct and indirect teams. Leadership of large teams and multiple levels a plus
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems independently
- Strategic skill set that's able to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Smartsheet and Teams
- Travel required: ~50%
