What You'll Do:

  • Design and Implement Scalable Data Solutions
    Lead the design and implementation of innovative, scalable data solutions using Snowflake and other cloud platforms, ensuring the data infrastructure meets current and future business needs.

  • Strategic Data Integration
    Oversee the integration of diverse data sources, including third-party tools, to create a cohesive data ecosystem that enhances predictive analytics, AI, and machine learning capabilities.

  • Optimize Data Architecture
    Continuously improve data architecture to support large-scale operations, enhancing performance and cost-effectiveness while driving data innovation across the organization.

  • Ensure Data Security and Compliance
    Establish and uphold robust security protocols and compliance frameworks aligned with industry standards and regulations to safeguard sensitive data.

  • Manage Complex Data Migration
    Lead the migration of critical data assets across various platforms and warehouses, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal downtime throughout the process.

  • Develop Advanced Analytics and Insights
    Drive the development of advanced analytics platforms using Tableau and other BI tools, delivering actionable insights and forecasts that facilitate business growth and innovation.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration
    Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to define and implement a long-term data strategy that aligns with business objectives, promoting a data-driven culture.

  • Mentorship and Team Development
    Mentor and develop a team of data professionals, fostering their growth in data architecture, analytics, and leadership while encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Innovative Data Solutions
    Explore and implement innovative approaches to data handling and analysis, utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies and AI/ML integration to keep the organization at the forefront of the analytics industry.

  • Ownership of End-to-End Solutions
    Assume responsibility for large-scale data projects from conception to execution, ensuring they align with strategic business goals and deliver long-term value.

  • Stay Current with Emerging Technologies
    Continuously research and adopt emerging technologies, including advancements in cloud computing, AI, and machine learning, to enhance the organization's competitive edge.

What You'll Bring:
Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Snowflake, AWS RDS, MySQL, and data modeling.

  • Demonstrated ability to architect end-to-end scalable cloud data platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Boomi, Pentaho, FiveTran, AirByte).

  • Proficient in SQL and Tableau with experience in building data sources and dashboards for high-level business insights.

  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks.

  • Proven experience in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning.

  • Capable of leading cross-functional teams and projects in a remote/offshore environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and its integration with Snowflake.

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Apex, Flows, LWC, and Tableau Analytics.

  • Experience implementing AI/ML-driven solutions in a data architecture context.

  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentorship, strategic decision-making, and driving innovation.

Compensation Overview

  • Base Salary of $160k-175k USD per year + discretionary annual bonus subject to the terms of the applicable bonus plan.

  • Total compensation range for this position: $160-175k USD per year.

Where You'll Work:

This role requires work onsite in Redwood City, CA two days per week.
