Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Property Manager to support SDA's mission. Responsibilities include:



Responsibilities

    Own, or otherwise support, the entire life cycle process of accountable property at SDA, to include: (a) receive and inspect newly acquired property, (b) enter the property into the organization's accountable property system of record, (c) properly document transfer of this property to initial and subsequent users, (d) execute the planning, conduct, and documentation for required periodic property accountability inventories, and (e) document the eventual documented disposition of this property when it is no longer required by SDA.
  • Provide recommendations on project justifications, scope of work, cost estimates, work phasing and scheduling, as related to Property Management efforts.
  • Research, develop and implement SDA policies and procedures to comply with DoD and federal requirements.
  • Assist other SDA staff with records, CRM, and property/equipment related requirements across all of SDA's facilities.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
  • TS/SCI Eligibility required; #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a DoD sanctioned accountable property system of record (e.g., DPAS, GCSS-Army, REMIS, etc.)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be willing to travel to external SDA locations on an as-needed basis (no more than 25% of the time)
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Service Now a plus
