Overview:
One of our terrific scientific research/educational organizations has an immediate opportunity for a full-time, contract AV Technician. This position will be onsite in Woods Hole, MA. The contract is expected to last through the end of the year with a possibility of extending into 2025. The hourly rate of pay starts at $38/hr. and will depend on level of experience. This position will also offer sick time pay that is earned on an accrual basis. The contract AV Technician will be responsible for setting up AV equipment, helping with ZOOM, Webex, Teams, assisting with video editing. Experience with Cisco room kits will be very helpful. May need to do some lifting once in a while – up to 50 lbs. Lots of walking to the different conference rooms with some possible working outside. Also some local travel to other locations, Individual should have a car. Will mostly be operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of media-related equipment. This position uses learned multimedia knowledge and skills to provide technical support for all staff and students. This role will be responsible for meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery benchmarks by providing a high level of customer service to end users. This is a customer-facing role that will make field visits to the departments in need. Responsibilities:
