Position Overview: The Development Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Chief Revenue Officer/ SVP and VP of Development and Membership in increasing the number of supporters and providing operational support of the organization's mission. This position is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on details and information, knows they want a career in development, and is ready to learn more about relational fundraising. The Development Officer will support the work of the CCGA through cultivating relationships with supporters (particularly individual donors), managing the donor database (Salesforce), tracking and evaluating fundraising efforts and providing some donor communications support. In addition, the DO will take part in portfolio meetings and will be involved in conversations about the replenishment of the prospect pipeline. The DO will also conduct prospect research as needed. The ideal candidate for this role can work independently, is responsive, has impeccable follow-through, and a keen eye for detail.
