The Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers University-New Brunswick (
EMNB) is comprised of eight student-facing and administrative units: Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the One Stop Student Services Center, as well as business, information technology, and strategy and analytics administrative teams. The division employs over 100 full-time staff and an additional 200+ student employees to fulfill its mission. The division is driven by research, galvanized by progress, and motivated by a relentless commitment to student access and academic excellence. It works at the intersection of administration and innovation to set enrollment strategy, foster student success, and inform university policy and practice. Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the Undergraduate Admissions - NB department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Serves as a Mid-Atlantic regional recruiter.
- Conducts market planning/analysis.
- Visits high schools and community colleges.
- Represents Rutgers at college fairs/panels.
- Conducts budget oversight.
- Plans/implements events.
- Recruits/trains local alumni recruiters.
- Networks with counselor community.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of coordination, organization, facilitation, report analysis, writing, and promotion/outreach.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience in a program coordination or administrative function.

Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.

- Good communication skills and computer literacy.
- Ability to handle considerable and varied responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team.
- Ability to represent the university knowledgeably, articulately and enthusiastically with an effective professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Previous experience in a higher education setting.
- Experience working with diverse populations of students, staff and faculty.

Immunization Requirements
