Job Summary:
The School of Education is a unique school made up of ten diverse academic departments, three major research units, and many outreach and support units, all known for their dedication to high- quality outcomes and their desire to positively impact our world. Reporting to the School of Education's Chief Financial Officer, the Administrative Specialist will support the Chief Financial Officer with general administrative tasks and support the CFO and Business Office leaders in the areas of initiative coordination and implementation, and policy development and management for the administrative functions under the purview of the Chief Financial Officer. This position will work collaboratively with other members of the Business Office, and all academic, administrative and research support departments in the School. Areas that report to the CFO include budget and financial management, human resources, research administration, facilities, and core operational information technology. The Administrative Specialist should be committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility with regard to administrative project activities. Responsibilities: Responsible for a variety of professional level work across a variety of administrative service areas including budget, finance, procurement, and human resources with impact across the institution in support of unit or institutional goals.
