Job Summary Under the general direction of the Orthopedic Attending Surgeon and/or Resident Physicians/Physician Extenders or nurse, assists the physician/resident and/or nurse with the care and treatment of orthopedic patients, including casting, bracing, splinting and traction application.Accountabilities

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses Requires Orth Tech Certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists) or ASOP (American Society of Orthopedic Professionals). (Lawson Code C072) In Lieu Of The Above Minimum Requirements Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements. In addition, team members must be certification eligible and will have one year to obtain required certification.
