Job Summary The District MarComm team is seeking a creative graphic designer to join our award-winning team as a Media Production and Design Analyst Senior! This position is responsible for developing marketing materials and bringing creative concepts to life across multiple platforms-including print, digital (social media, billboards, campaign ads, web), motion graphics, animation, video, and presentation materials. We're looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional eager to learn and grow with our team. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and strong skills in animation, graphic design, and illustration, with a passion for creating impactful and engaging visuals. Essential Functions 25% - Graphic Design Development: Works with senior level staff in creating and producing designs for print, digital (social media, billboards, campaign ads, web), and presentation materials. Reviews graphics for quality assurance adhering to District and college brand and image. 25% - Animation Design: Works with senior level staff in creating and producing designs for motion graphics, animation, and video. Reviews graphics for quality assurance adhering to District and college brand and image. 20% - Collaboration: Collaborates with College PR Marketing teams to create stunning visual content that will help amplify college-specific initiatives and projects. Works to create digital graphics, websites, and video editing/graphics for college teams for major announcements, new partnerships, program marketing, and other marketing campaign materials, etc. 15% - Content Management: Maintains design files, photos, logos and project management system records keeping track of deadlines and communicating progress of each project. 5% - Team Support: Serves on college project teams for brainstorming/creative team/staff meetings and responds to requests from staff and clients in a timely manner. Attend/help in person with special events. 10% - Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in graphic design or related field and four (4) years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Five (5) or more years of experience in advertising or marketing. B. Five (5) or more years of experience producing creative assets across various media formats. C. Five (5) or more years of experience using creative design software platforms Adobe Creative Suite. D. Showcases a portfolio with a range of creative work across various media and multi-channel digital platforms. E. Master's Degree in a related field.
