Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $53,500 - Midpoint: $66,900 (Salaried E8)

Department/Organization: 509101 - Construction Administration

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Construction Field Coordinator performs field operations as the owners representative on multiple projects. Monitors inspections, quality, and schedule to ensure a successful completion. Coordinates owner provided vendors, contractors, government agency representatives, and consultants.

Additional Department Summary: The Construction Field Coordinator will be responsible for the field operations as the owners representative on multiple projects of various size, complexity and duration. Performing and monitoring inspections, quality, and schedule to ensure a successful completion. Engage end users and campus partners to minimize the impacts to campus life as well as assist in the turnover process. They will coordinate owner provided vendors, contractors, government agency representatives, consultants, etc. and incorporate them into projects as needed. Construction Administration emergency operations support as directed by Incident Command and support UA events as directed.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree and some construction, engineering, and/or project management experience; OR bachelor's degree and two (2) years of construction, engineering, and/or project management experience; OR associate's degree and four (4) years of construction, engineering, and/or project management experience; OR high school diploma or GED and six (6) years of construction, engineering, and/or project management experience.

Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.

Final candidate must submit to and successfully pass a post offer drug test.

Skills and Knowledge: In depth knowledge of commercial construction including codes and standards and means and methods.

Preferred Qualifications: 5 years commercial construction experience. Bachelors degree in construction, engineering or related field. Three years of experience working in a college campus environment. Experience in performing inspection of mechanical, plumbing and/or electrical systems is preferred and will be an extensive part of the work. Any experience working around medical/healthcare facilities or working in an institutional environment with multiple projects with various systems.
