Department Information

The PACCAR flight department is an established part of the company business model and long-term vision of the company's continued success. Employment with PACCAR includes a full range of industry leading benefits to include medical, dental, and vision care, 401(K) matching contributions, paid vacation and sick time, and a pension. PACCAR operates three aircraft under 14 CFR Part 91: two Falcon 50EX aircraft based in Seattle and one Falcon 50EX in Denton, TX.

Job Responsibilities

Primary Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Aircraft booking: Add and modify aircraft reservations.
  • Manage CEO approval process for all trips.
  • Reply to aircraft availability, airport, flight scheduling inquiries.
  • Ensure trips are scheduled in compliance with crew duty and flight time limitations.
  • Trip arrangements: notify FBOs; ground handling, make fuel & catering arrangements.
  • Crew arrangements: book hotel, rental cars.
  • Prepare Trip Packets for crews.
  • Coordinate crew & maintenance schedules.
  • Obtain required aircraft and crew permits/visas for international travel.
  • Provide flight tracking details for appropriate company personnel and ground transportation support
  • Post Flight: maintain flight & crew duty records.
Additional Job Functions
  • Back up department Accountant duties during absences.
  • Coordinate thorough scheduling duties handoff prior to absences.
  • Department Security focal.
  • Manage and pay invoices for international fees.
  • Manage Aircraft document renewals for registration, insurance, landing permits, Customs decals, CANPASS program, etc.
  • Monitor main gate for visitors and deliveries.
  • Building security check when last to leave hangar.
  • Attend NBAA, PNBAA, PFM conferences, etc., to ensure incorporation of industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2+ years of Aviation scheduling experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication ability.
  • Ability to maintain professional attitude while working with a sense of urgency under deadlines and aptitude for organizing daily work and activities
  • Excellent PC Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet).
  • Highly developed organizational, planning skills and detail oriented.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information.
  • Ability to interact with senior executives and officials inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to respond during evenings, weekends, holidays and be available on-call when required.
  • Knowledge of aviation terminology and experience with flight scheduling software.
  • Proficiency with PFM and Flightbridge scheduling software preferred.
  • Accounting experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass TSA and Port of Seattle background screening for ID badge.
  • Valid passport and driver's license.
Education
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Dispatcher certificate a plus

Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
