Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a 2nd Shift TeamCoordinatorto join us at our diverse team in Easley, SC.The Team Coordinator is a production employee that takes a leadership role in the operation of a work area. This role will instruct Operators on job tasks, complete tracking metrics, report causes for deviations and will participate in problem solving activities. The Team Coordinator will progressively lead and support production in all areas.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.




  • Understands and can explain the 8 types of Waste and 10 Lean Principles





  • Should motivate and support employees throughout the day keep teams informed of production expectations, scheduling, and any other follow-up information as needed





  • Ensure staffing assignments and gaps are communicated day to day





  • Work with other Team Coordinators to flex and train employees to reduce non-value-added hours in production.





  • Facilitate RCPS board meetings and follow-up on open JDI and 4-Steps to have them resolved and closed in timely fashion.

  • High School/GED. Basic Math Skills.





  • Must have the skills and knowledge to run all jobs in the area





  • Must be dependable with a good attitude





  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are needed.





  • Computer skills: SAP, Microsoft Office
