Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Work closely with the technical leads and Product Owners to deliver support data, analytics and reporting functionalities in the GWD platform Hands-on application development to support the current and target process across the SDLC - design, build, test, deploy support Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions accordingly Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both traditional databases and big data Requirements: Significant experience in Microsoft SQL programming and development including SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema) Hands-on experience in building ad-hoc reports using CUBE, Snowflake, Tableau and generic SQL Significant hands-on experience in building Graph database using tools like Neo4J , Tiger graph, etc. Hands-on experience in deep data analysis, triaging, identifying data gaps, patterns, behavior to support enhancements and user requests Proficiency in debugging complex SQL Code to generate and identify data gaps and logical enhancements Experience in working with large data-sets (~100 million records) Desired Skills: Experience in Financial data such Trade data, Reference data, etc. to build functional calculation modules, reports and dashboards Experience in functional knowledge of GRRP (Global Recovery and Resolution Planning) regulatory needs in terms of data, calculations Reporting Pay Range: $58.26-$66.26 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
