Job Description:

Senior Technology Delivery Manager position would be housed inside Ryan Technology and report to the Director of Technology Applications. Ryan Technology is rapidly growing cross functional team comprised of team members of various skill sets and backgrounds ranging from operations, construction project delivery, building engineering and design, network security, software engineering, database administration, technology delivery management, among many others. This group oversees all aspects of Ryan Company's rapidly evolving technology environment and oversees everything from network and data security to artificial intelligence and jobsite robotics.

Some things you can expect to do:
  • Immerse yourself in construction projects to learn and discover technology pain points, build trust, and nurture productive relationships with business partners.

  • Provide leadership and guidance of the technology and business needs for a rapidly growing sector of business.

  • Review, synthesize, document, and communicate technology and broader project requirements.

  • Develop, maintain, and operate a project management structure for technology and shared business service projects.

  • Define and document project scope, objectives, and success criteria with particular focus on alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.

  • Structure reporting to foster team coordination, accountability, and timely response to multiple inflight projects and support operations.

  • Collaborate across technology and shared service teams to oversee and deliver successful projects.

  • Create and maintain project plans, including schedules, timeline, tasks, and budgets.

  • Effectively identify and manage key resources and assets required for successful project delivery, even in the face of obstacles or unforeseen conditions.

  • Manage day to day activities against project plans and identify issues or bottlenecks requiring escalation or resolution.

  • Document and communicate key project decisions; ensure key participants understand and take required timely actions to implement decisions.

  • Monitor adherence of technical specifications in alignment with key customer requirements.

  • Travel to visit jobsites or Ryan offices as required.

To be successful in this role:

  • Preferred you have Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent related work experience) with 5+ years of overall business experience in the technology or construction industries.

  • Exceptional experiences leading teams or delivering technology projects will also be highly valued.

You will really stand out if you can successfully perform the following:
  • Develop, evaluate, and deliver projects without personal bias, and in careful consideration of many different perspectives.

  • Familiarity of the Hyperscale Mission Critical market.

  • Deliver on both short term (immediate) and long term (strategic) technology needs.

  • PMP Certification and familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies.

  • Fluent in change management, problem solving, and initiative evaluation principles such as but not limited to, Choosing By Advantage, Design Thinking, Root Cause Analysis, Lean A3 Thinking, 5 Whys, etc.

  • Understand the process of construction and management of projects and their impact on the built environment.

  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and seek out new opportunities for creativity and innovation.

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The annual base pay is $108,500-$135,650/annually. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
