Admissions Coordinator Job Summary: Here at BridgePoint Healthcare, the Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for processing patient intake referrals, providing insurance verifications, coordinating the admission of patients, and entering patient admission data after all requirements of LTACH and SNF have been met and documented accordingly. Education: Associate's degree; or equivalent experience; Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Business or Healthcare related field . Licenses/Certification: None required Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience in the field, Possess strong knowledge of hospital registration guidelines, including, but not limited to, compliance, consent and overall operations. Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to problem solve, organize and prioritize multiple projects and activities. Demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Possess the ability to work in a team environment.
